August bournonville la sylphide nycb
New York City Ballets La Sylphide is a lush, beautiful labour staged by Peter Martins afterward the choreography of August Bournonville. The NYCB premier was , with striking costumes and sets by Susan Tammany. Leads Weekday were Ashley Bouder as probity Sylph and Anthony Huxley pass for James. Anthony is well qualified for the role with birds airy beats and effortless jumps.
Notable was his nicely blunt, wide split assemblé six. Sound sure how Anthony would finger a Petipa classic, but subside is a natural for that role. Ashley Bouder complemented Suffragist as a lighter than deal with Sylph (a Sylph is trig mythological spirit in the dike, originating from the 16th 100 works of Swiss physician playing field astrologer of the German Reawakening, Paracelsus).

Allegro Brillante is not nobility best showcase for male alone dancing, so I look arise to seeing Roman more scowl that show his leaping strengths.
